Advance payment is not required because we understand that circumstances may change. Payment will be handled at the start of our home visit after the consent form is reviewed. This enables us to foster a peaceful atmosphere and minimize any disruptions to the grieving process. Checks (made payable to Charleston Mobile Vet), cash, and credit cards are accepted. If paying with a card, a 3.5% fee will be added to cover the processing fee.

We work closely with Good Shepherd to provide seamless aftercare services.

If a different aftercare provider is preferred, all arrangements, including transportation, will need to be made through that provider.

Cremation - Ashes Returned

Individual cremation at Good Shepherd licensed pet crematory. Your pet's ashes are returned in a carved rosewood box within 2 weeks. See https://goodshepherdpet.com for more information. Cost includes transportation of your pet to Good Shepherd and return of ashes back to your home for locations within 30 miles of our home office.

Cremation - No Ashes Returned

Cancellation of Appointment

This fee applies only if our appointment is cancelled and we are already en route to your location.

Assistance with Deceased Pet

This fee applies only if your pet passes away prior to our appointment and assistance with aftercare is still requested. If your pet passes away and we are already en route to your location, the cancellation of appointment fee will not apply.

Pet Held for Alternate Aftercare Service

This fee applies only if an aftercare provider other than Good Shepherd is used and circumstances necessitate us holding your pet until transportation can be arranged.
